Mosaic: Pieces in Poetry

Although those around her knew Janelle as a poet, she often kept her poems close to her chest. Instead of a diary, Janelle wrote her deepest thoughts and concerns in poetry. They read like her journal, telling a coming-of-age story she was never quite sure if or when she wanted to share. 

Released in January of 2015, Mosaic: Pieces in Poetry includes poems written from ages 12 to 27, spanning topics from politics to love and self-esteem to family charting a personal growth story that many can relate to.
